As a jewelry fanatic that has been collecting rare jewelry for over 20 years and a lover for all things acrylic and timeless, this is a very Beautiful necklace that could potentially withstand the test of time with slight modifications. The white cord cheapens the necklace a tad bit unless worn over white. An acrylic wire would have made it more high end to achieve the floating look or a gold metal wire to blend in with the gold. The extender chain is also too short. 10 years from now I am sure this will still be in many peoples closet and not flooding second hand shops.
I think this necklace is my favorite KHOI piece and I go back to the blue/green packaging! Lightweight but sturdy beautiful piece.
